Refunds
Please choose carefully, as we do not refund if you change your mind or if you made a mistake when ordering from the website.
Our return for exchange policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned/exchanged. Perishable goods such as food, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Mobile phone top ups
- Notebooks/journals that have been used or marked
- Greeting cards that have been written in
- Book with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition or is damaged
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after purchase
Exchanges
We will replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If the product being returned is faulty, and the Consumer Guarantee Act applies, we will meet our obligation to provide a remedy under The Consumer Guarantees Act.
To return an item because it is faulty or defective, please contact us first to provide you with details on how to return it. Please send us an email at admin@citybooks.co.nz and we will follow up with you. All shipping costs in relation to CGA products will be covered by us.
Shipping
To return your product for exchange within the 30 day period, you need to contact us before mailing your product to: City Books & Lotto, 1304 Tutanekai Street, BOP, Rotorua 3010, New Zealand
You will be responsible for paying all shipping costs for returning your item for exchange and the subsequent shipping of the new product.
