Shipping policy

City Books & Lotto only delivers to addresses within New Zealand.

You must make sure that the delivery address and name for your order is accurate and complete (including any business name if you ask us to deliver to a work address). We cannot take responsibility for any orders that go missing due to incorrect delivery information provided by you, or because you have not chosen a safe delivery address. Delivery will be deemed to have been made when the goods arrive at the delivery point agreed with you, or, if you are to arrange delivery, when the goods are available for collection by you.

We use NZ Post courier services - please note no signature is required for delivery. Deliveries are made during standard weekday business hours. You will be provided with the specific details of your courier by email once your order has been shipped. This will provide the tracking number to enable you to track your order.

Once an order is dispatched it gets delivered in the next 1-2 working day to addresses in the main cities areas of the North Island. For South Island and smaller centres allow another working day for delivery. Rural Delivery (RD) addresses can take longer as Courier Post passes their parcels onto Rural Delivery contractors.
