Motorsport Magazine
Motor Sport magazine is the longest-running motor racing publication in the world. They have been covering the heroes, drama and innovations of the sport for 96 years.
The magazine was founded as the Brooklands Gazette in 1924, then renamed as Motor Sport a year later.
In 1930, Bill Boddy joined the title and became editor in 1936: the start of a 55-year tenure in which he would build the magazine into the most authoritative motor racing title in the world.
Boddy also recruited Denis Jenkinson, the magazine’s legendary Continental Correspondent, who brought the colour and character of the international racing circuit to the pages of the magazine and, in the pioneering role of co-driver, helped Stirling Moss to secure a famous victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia.
Boddy and Jenks set the standard for the magazine, which continues to attract the most insightful writers in the sport.
